Sales Executive Chessington £30,000-£35,000   Are you looking for a role in sales? Do you have a passion for food? Our client is seeking a Sales Executive to join their head office in Chessington. You’ll be handling B2B sales accounts and grabbing new business whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.   Key Responsibilities
  • Handle existing B2B sales accounts and acquire new business, ensuring customer satisfaction while working to legal compliance and certificated standards of storage and distribution
  • Contribute to a fast growing company by meeting or exceeding sales and margin targets
  • Manage existing sales accounts, with particular attention to customer requirements and changing business environment
  • Acquire and manage new sales accounts throughout the UK and EU
  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm for the business and products in order to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm for thetarget market in order to acquire and develop new business
  • Monitor prices and gross margins with particular attention to currency exchange rates and negotiate price changes with customers as needed
  • Develop product lists that cater to customer requirements
  • Research and propose new products based on customer enquiries
  • Work closely with Purchasing to ensure sufficient stock levels
  • Promote the sale of stock that has been circulated as nearing its expiry date
  • Work closely with customers and suppliers to understand and develop new business opportunities
  • Work closely with Logistics to ensure smooth delivery and high standard of customer service
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly sales reports
  • Track customers and products to ensure business growth
  • Work closely with Accounts to monitor and control timely payments from customers
  • Maintain all aspects of administration to a high standard and be committed to achieving tight customer SLAs
  • Ensure adherence to relevant legislation as well as company procedures and standards
  • Perform any other reasonable management requests as needed
Person Specification
  • Experienced, proven track record in B2B sales
  • Deep knowledge of food service industry
  • Deep understanding of wholesale trade
  • Knowledge of retail sector highly desirable
  • Knowledge of food highly desirable
  • Customer focused individual
  • Dynamic personality
  • Strong selling and negotiating abilities
  • Well developed interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
  • Able to respond quickly to operational demands
  • Advanced computer skills Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Pegasus Opera 3 financial software* *training to be provided as needed
